File # 2021

E-Comm, the provincial agency responsible for handling almost 99 percent of all 911 calls in the province of British Columbia has initiated a public awareness campaign. The purpose of the campaign is to educate the public on when it is appropriate to call 911, when the call should be made to police non-emergency lines or if the call could be better handled by other agencies.
