Mounties seeking public’s assistance to identify robbery suspects

RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects whose images were captured by security cameras as police continue to investigate an alleged robbery.

On July 20, 2021 at approximately 8:30 p.m., Chilliwack RCMP responded to a robbery in the 7500-block of Vedder Road after receiving a report that a male and female entered the business, stole approximately $200 worth of merchandise and then brandished a knife after being confronted by store loss prevention personnel. The pair then fled on foot. Chilliwack RCMP and Police Dog Services searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects.

As officers continue this investigation, they are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects of this robbery.

RCMP are reaching out to the public for assistance identifying suspects of the alleged robbery, said Sergeant Krista Vrolyk spokesperson for the UFVRD.
