General Duty

The General Duty members – or patrol officers, are the front line police officers, their role is to prevent crime, protect life and property.

They investigate crime such as thefts, threats, assaults, harassment, provide crime prevention and enforce any Criminal Code offences, provincial statutes and municipal bylaws.

They work all around the clock to ensure public safety.They are often asking to assist the public in different ways to provide support as needed.
