Superintendent Will NG


Superintendent Will Ng joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in 1995 and has served in a variety of roles throughout his career, all of which have been in the Lower Mainland. After starting his career in general duty at the Surrey Detachment he moved on to a number of specialized units including:


Superintendent Ng has led and managed teams at a senior level on some of the highest profile cases in the province. He is an accredited Team Commander, and has mentored many of the Major Case Management Team Commander Candidates, a highly specialized and distinguished program. He is also a member of the Major Case Management Committee.
 

He has received numerous honours throughout his career. In 2004, he was awarded the Province of B.C. Medal of Valour and he is the recipient of the Canadian Meritorious Service Medal and Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal. He has also been honoured to receive an RCMP Commissioner’s Commendation and RCMP Commanding Officer Commendation.
 

In addition to his professional connections to Richmond, Superintendent Ng also has a special personal attachment to the community as his wife was raised in Richmond where her family continues to reside. Superintendent Ng is honoured to serve the community of Richmond and is committed to contributing to the safety and security of its residents.
