Police investigate suspicious death

The North District Major Crime Unit (NDMCU) has been deployed to a suspicious death in Thornhill, BC. 

On Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at approximately 6:00 a.m. the Terrace RCMP responded to a report of an unresponsive man at a residence located in the 3700 block of Muller Avenue in Thornhill, BC. Frontline officers attended the scene and located a man deceased inside the residence.

NDMCU has taken conduct of the investigation and is working closely in partnership with the Terrace RCMP and the BC Coroners Service. The public can expect to see an increased police presence in the area for the next several days while the investigation continues.

The death appears to be an isolated incident and investigators do not believe there is any potential danger to the public.

The North District Major Crime Unit is looking to speak with anyone who may have any information relating to the incident to contact Terrace RCMP at 250-638-7400.
