Insp. Pelley, Officer in Charge of Williams Lake Detachment states, "The RCMP will continue to use a consultative, research based approach to reducing crime by targeting our efforts toward high-volume offenders and known crime hot spots. Although we are pleased with the results and will continue to do everything we can to keep our communities safe. We didn’t do it alone. This is a community issue and we cannot solve crime or lower crime rate without the cooperation of the community

AUGER next court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday, June 21 2017 where Crown Counsel will seek further detention regarding the new charges.
