Early Morning Crash sends one man to hospital

On Tuesday May 2nd 2017 at 9:11 AM, Williams Lake RCMP responded to a report of a pedestrian involved collision at the Chief Willyum Campground on Highway 97 in 150 Mile House BC.

Investigation to date shows that a 24 year old man was injured when he was accidently run over by a Ford F450 pickup truck in the campground. The man was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.

A collision Reconstructionist was called to assist and remains on scene. Work Safe BC have been notified and is on scene as well.

The investigation is ongoing and at this time and causal factors have yet to be determined. Police so not believe alcohol to be a factor in this matter. Names of those involved are not being released.
