Vehicle Stop Leads to Suspected Drug Seizure

A Williams Lake male and female are face criminal charges following a vehicle stop.
On April 22, 2017, at 1:05 pm General Duty investigators of the Williams Lake RCMP conducted a vehicle stop which led to the arrest of four individuals.
During the traffic stop officers located a number of illegal items including a prohibited firearm, ammunition and a quantity of suspected drugs. The investigation is ongoing and remains a priority for the General Duty investigators
"Insp. Pelley states that enhancing community safety and pro-actively targeting violent individuals involved with firearms and drugs will remain to be a detachment priority. The behaviour and intent of any individuals involved in these type of offences will not be tolerated with full accountability being sought through the courts."
