Nighttime break and enter interrupted – 15 year old teenager arrested

Two homeowners woke up in the early hours this morning to find an intruder inside their residence in Langford, BC.

On August 31, 2017 at approximately 03:40 AM, police received a 9-1-1 call from the homeowners reporting a female individual inside their residence in the 2700 block of Jacklin Rd. The suspect was moving their personal effects out from the residence.

Acting swiftly, the homeowner was able to grab the suspect and detain her until police arrived shortly after.

The female, a 15 year old teenager of Langford, was arrested for the break and enter as well as for breaching her court imposed conditions.

The youth has been held in custody pending her court appearance.
