Police probe head on-collision

West Shore RCMP is investigating a serious head-on collision that occurred in the 2800 block of Sooke Rd in Langford, on January 31, 2017.

Police responded at around 3:10 p.m. after several calls were received, reporting the collision between the vehicle and a logging truck.

The driver of the logging truck was not injured, however the three occupants of the vehicle, including a young child were transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries and are in stable condition at this time.

Sooke Rd was closed to traffic in both direction while an RCMP Traffic Analyst attended and investigated the crash.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
