January 9th at 3:30 pm, Surrey RCMP attended to the 14000 block of 110 avenue after the victim alleged he had threatened with a weapon. With the assistance of the Lower Mainland Emergence Response Team (ERT), the house was contained and the male suspect surrendered himself without incident.
The suspect, a 56 year old Surrey resident known to police, is currently in custody while the investigation continues. It appears that the suspect and victim were known to each other.
