Police renew appeal for witnesses in April 2023 vehicle incident

Coquitlam RCMP are renewing the appeal for witnesses and video in relation to a motor vehicle incident that occurred on Coast Meridian Road and Coquitlam Avenue in Port Coquitlam on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

The Coquitlam RCMP Investigational Support Team (IST) is still looking to identify a key witness who was near the incident at 1:00 p.m. on April 11, 2023. The female witness is described as a middle eastern adult with dark shoulder-length hair, wearing a light-blue hooded jacket and dark pants.

Coquitlam RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance in this on-going investigation, said Media Relations Officer, Corporal Alexa Hodgins. Police are asking anyone who has not spoken to our investigators and may have information or video of the incident that took place on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 around 1:00 p.m. on Coast Meridian Road at Coquitlam Avenue, to contact the Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550.
