Pitt Meadows, B.C. – Ridge Meadows RCMP’s Traffic Services Unit, with assistance from the Integrated Collision Analyst Reconstructionist Services (ICARS) are investigating a fatal car crash.

On Thursday August 17, at around 2:20 a.m., a vehicle travelling westbound on the Lougheed Highway collided with a power pole on the Pitt River Bridge. Early investigation indicates speed was a factor in this tragic accident. The driver was the only occupant in the vehicle and did not survive.
