Early Morning Robbery at local business

On Thursday August 31st 2017 at 2:15 AM, Prince Rupert RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery at a local business on Hay Cove Avenue in Prince Rupert.

A masked suspect entered the store, produced a weapon and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money before the police arrived. The employee was not physically injured.

The suspect, who is believed to be male has been described as:

The suspect was wearing a black hoodie with hood covering his head. The word OBEY was written on the hoodie in white lettering. He was also wearing black pants with elastic at the ankles, white and grey running shoes that have been described as skateboarding shoes, black gloves and a black bandana with a white logo covering his face.
