Over 600 guns turned into RCMP during first two weeks of Gun Amnesty
B.C.- The BC Gun Amnesty is well underway. In just passing the halfway point of the program, the RCMP continues to encourage people to contact their local police if they want to dispose of any registered or unregistered weapons.
RCMP and US Coast Guard launch “Shiprider” waterway enforcement program
B.C.- Boaters along the coast of British Columbia and Washington State will soon be seeing something new as RCMP vessels routinely enter American waterways and the United States Coast Guard comes into Canada.

Police Dog Services- The RCMP Police Dog Service teams are trained to not only detect weapons, explosives and narcotics but aid in avalanche search and rescue operations.
